Radio La Famille aims to give a voice to immigrants, new Americans, and other ethno-racial and marginalized communities residing in North America to have a unique sound and reconnect with their native cultures through music, arts, and current events.

While Radio La Famille will offer diverse programming and feature various types of spoken word and news programming as well as popular urban musical styles such as jazz, hip hop, blues, and alternative rock, the focus will be on: promoting the work of local Minneapolis artists; providing information related to the redevelopment of Greater Minneapolis and other news relevant to members of the local community; and featuring news, spoken word, and musical styles influenced by or associated with specific cultural ethnicities that make up Greater Minneapolis, including Jamaican, Somali, West and East African, Congolese, Filipino, Asian, and Togolese.
