Cheating app:There's no way for me modestly to reduce a mistakenly optimistic rating! (The programming IS generally superior to the competition.)

Sounds like NPR Weekend Morning Edition has turned into "Valley Girl Central." Talking about the announcer, not the content . Not fond of her voice and style, but at least she is enthusiastic. Maybe NPR needs this to attract fast ageing Valley Girls. Every cloud has its silver lining.

Long time listener but cannot abide your latest news person. She's on now but I am going to turn off and go back to BBC - my friend says the same - she can't stand her voice. I'm sure she is a nice person but has the voice of a corncrake. Name, I think, Aya Shiracko?? Radio used to employ people with wonderful voices - you seem to have bent to 'woke' policies. that's why I didn't donate this year

I find the interviews generally balanced; there is a real attempt to interview a range of opinions, although questions are sometimes challenging and sometimes rather open ... and human interest stuff is usually worth hearing ... a good balance of background information to get up with ...

Writers? These women use "like" in almost every phrase, don't complete sentences, think in cliches, pose like salespeople, not to mention exploit sensationalism and fringe culture. Sad.
