Capital FM

Capital FM network was officially established in 2011. But its flagship radio station (Capital London radio station) started broadcasting in 1973. Within next years other existing radio stations were renamed and added to this network. It changed its owners several times (previous owners are GCap Media, Chrysalis Radio; current owner is Global Radio).

The official name of this radio network is 95-106 Capital and the slogan is “The UK’s No. 1 Hit Music Station”. They play contemporary hits, offer local news and broadcast various shows and charts like Capital Breakfast, Drivetime, Vodafone Big Top 40 etc.
