Thank you for devoting airtime to celebrate the life and achievements of President Elizabeth Davis. I do not have the history with “Liz” your presenters and so many others have, but from the moment of our first meeting I knew I had just met a fierce advocate whose unyielding dedication to correcting educational inequities was ongoing, profound and unapologetic.

The Sunday lineup on WPFW from noon until 9p.m. is transcendent. The magic does not occur every minute of the Sunday lineup but it occurs every Sunday. My perspective and understanding of genres is broadened and enriched. My curiosity staunched for a time by the hosts' instruction; my thirst is quenched by the cornucopia of flavors that dribble on my tongue, and my hunger is sated by the notes, melodies, instrumentation that nourish, my soul. The weekend warrior in me stirs at the call of Robin's Place on Friday night, and then Sunday, by grace, returns to my favorite lineup, and I am victorious once again. Thank you , Ms. Miyuki Williams ( how grand you are), Donnie McKethan, Larry Appelbaum, and Jim Byers Your stars shine brightly. Zinora Mitchell-Rankin
