  I have just listened to your interview with Sidney Whitehead and Drew Wagler. I am Drew's Mom, and so none of this was new to my. I am beyond grateful that you took the time and the conscience to share this story. Sidney has given my son his life back, as well as so very much more for him, his partner, his son and of course me, his Mom, his family and friends. The message cannot be repeated too much or overstated. Please consider sharing your spare. Again, huge thanks for your awareness and for passing on the important message.

  I was listening to the AM broadcast about the covid and the accolades that everyone is giving the nurses and calling then front line workers.I strongly disagree. I think that the only ones who should hold the title of front line workers should be the people that fought for this country (the WW1 vets) they fought, died were maimed, & more.They built this country yet they don't seem to get the recognition.We call the nurses,police & firemen front line workers.We should be calling them workers,plain and simple.They have a job to do and should not be held high on any pedestals like they have been. Its a job for them, nothing else. The soldiers were different.They fought ,and died. and the actual term front line worked was coined during WW1 for the soldiers. The police,fireman and nurses are all here to do a JOB,JOB. They are not fighting anyone. They choose the profession because thats what are they wanted to work in. They weren't sent to f.oreign lands to fight and die. The Nurses,to look after the sick, the police to ,protect the people,protect life and property.Yes they put their life on the life on the line but they are not going into battle (or a war) to die like our soldiers who many do not get any recognition what so ever.THey made this county called Canada , the nurses,police or firemen did not.I realize that this covid nonsense is brutle to all but its only a virus.We can be cured!!!!!the soldiers were not protected, and had to fight through many obstacles of all kinds worse than covid.. Did they get recognition, NO. Well in a way they did by celebrating Rememberance Day .Are we now going to have a Covid day for all the nurses,police and firefighters? We could all use another holiday of some sort i guess..Im old and just bitter about the whole Covid thing,its keeping people paranoid,keeping them in a shell,and scared.People will di what they want, no matter what.I get tired of being tested & tested for eah time i go to the hospital for anything.2022 will be just another washout yr for everyone concerned.,I'd better stop well im ahead before i say something i may regret.So please don't call these people front line workers, they are just employees who choose their profession, not heros.!!!!! thks.

  Good morning! I was listening to your station earlier this morning, and there was a comment about a woman on jeopardy who is the fourth longest running contestant on the show-and I believe there was a comment that she is transgendered. Forgive me if I got this wrong, as it was early, but I can’t for the life of me understand how being transgendered or female has anything to do with an obviously intelligent individual doing well on a game show where knowledge is showcased, regardless of the body it is in. Only my personal opinion, but we aren’t contributing to the growth of our ability to accept others, when we still feel the need to use adjectives like transgendered and female when all that was necessary was a hearty congratulations to an individual who has become the fourth longest running contestant.
