Just listening to a show about RTR’s birthday and want to say “hi”. I have been doing interviews and having songs played on your radio since the station was at UWA! Since then I have been singing, recording and performing to millions of people internationally as a humanitarian and environmental activist. Thanks RTR for supporting WA artists!! Such a brilliant radio station! Thank you SO much for your support over the years. Kelly Newton-Wordsworth

Information about the radio
RTRFM broadcasts to the wider Perth metropolitan area via 92.1FM and online 24/7.
RTRFM provides a platform for local news and issues, with a strong focus on the arts, culture, social justice, politics and the environment. We champion local music and support musical diversity through 50+ programs and a huge annual program of events.
Station's programs range from talks programs to specialist, genre-specific music programs covering everything from jazz to hip-hop, punk, rock, metal, pop, ambient, avant-garde compositions and everything in between. These programs are presented by over 250 passionate, dedicated volunteers, and supported by eight core staff members.
The range of sounds and voices heard on RTRFM is reflective of its role as a community radio station. RTRFM is an outlet to people in the community who might not otherwise have access to broadcasting. This allows us to broadcast music and information that cannot be found anywhere else.
But RTRFM doesn’t just reflect the community by giving its members a voice – they are also funded by the community. Through subscriptions, donations, sponsorship and attendance at RTRFM fundraising events, the community is what keeps them on air.
